Fine Art and Ceramic Museum situated in the Jakarta region of Java Island is one of the Indonesia Java International Destination. Fine Art and Ceramic Museum was built in the year of 1870 and is in the Jakarta region of Indonesia. Fine Art and Ceramic Museum, an Indonesia Java International Destination was formerly used as Dutch Judiciary Institution and during the freedom struggle of Indonesia it was used as military dormitory. In the year of 1967 it was used as the Mayor’s office of West Jakarta. From the period of 1968 to 1976 this Fine Art and Ceramic Museum was used as office of DKI Jakarta Museum and History official. In the year of 1976 on 20th of August, this structure was officially announced as Fine Art and Ceramic building and is now prominently referred as Fine Art and Ceramic Museum. There are around 400 numbers of fine arts in this Fine Art and Ceramic Museum which is made up of many different materials and different techniques. The sculpture, painting batik, wood totem, graphic and sketch of all the fine arts in the museum vary. Some of the masterpieces that are featured in the collection of the museum are “Tritura Paramilitary Troops” painting by S. Sudjojono, “Lebak Regent” painting by Raden Saleh, “Mother Give Sick” painting by Dullah, and “Self-Potrait” painting by Affandi.
